Circa Waves take advantage of the momentum that they recorded in 2019 with their album "What's It Like Over There?" and directly add a new album full of indie-pop hits. "Sad Happy", the fourth album by the Liverpool-based indie rock quartet Circa Waves, is another step forward for the band with their best songs to date between Phoenix and Vampire Weekend. "Jacqueline", for example, is a life-affirming indie pop anthem that will fit in wonderfully with the now hit-packed live set. The album has been mixed by Grammy winners Dan Grech-Marguerat (Liam Gallagher, Lana Dey Rey) and Matt Wiggins (Adele, Glass Animals). In spring Circa Waves supported their label friends Two Door Cinema Club on their tour and won many new fans. More shows and festival appearances will follow.
