When Black Pumas released their self-titled debut in 2019, the Austin duo sparked a reaction almost as extraordinary and captivating as their music itself. Celebrated by the media, they received a total of 6 Grammy Award nominations (including Best New Artist and Album of the Year). In addition to live performances at the aforementioned Grammy Awards, Eric Burton and Adrian Quesada also played at the broadcast of the NFL Draft and at the inauguration of Joe Biden. They toured throughout Europe as well as North and South America and were seen on well-known late-night shows such as Jimmy Fallen, Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen DeGeneres and Stephen Colbert.
