BAD COMPANY celebrate the 40th anniversary of the album with an anniversary edition, which has been extended by nine previously unreleased tracks from the recording sessions. Desolation Angels was recently remastered from the original multitrack tapes released last summer for Box The Swan Song Years 1974-1982. The remastered version of the album also forms the basis for the new anniversary edition.

Desolation Angels' second disc: 40th Anniversary Edition presents nine previously unreleased versions of seven album tracks. Among the highlights are the alternative versions of "Rock'n'Roll Fantasy", "Early In The Morning" and "She Brings Me Love." The version of "Oh, Atlanta" on the disc is slower than the album version and features a Fender Rhodes keyboard in the mix.
