Doom rock band AVATARIUM is back with their new album "Between You, God, The Devil and The Dead". Get ready for a great combination of dark hard rock with gentle doom metal accents. This special mix gives the Swedish band their unique sound and is one of the reasons why they have already made a big name for themselves in the scene.
Masters of melancholic heavy metal, Avatarium have been a unique and impressive musical force since 2013. Originally formed as an extracurricular project by Candlemass legend Leif Edling, the Stockholm doom outliers have since evolved far beyond their roots and become one of the most creative hard rock bands on the planet. Led by their life partners, vocalist Jennie-Ann Smith and guitarist Marcus Jidell, Avatarium have continued their unique path and grown even stronger along the way. From the acclaimed doom purism of their self-titled debut to the detailed rock indulgence of 2022's "Death, Where Is Your Sting?", every chapter of the band's history has been a benchmark for substance and soul in heavy music.
On January 24, 2025, the Swedes will now release their sixth studio album, "Between You, God, The Devil & The Dead." As with each of their previous five albums, the new work reveals previously unknown shades and textures in their classic yet malleable sound. Full of gigantic riffs and amazing melodies, "Between You, God, The Devil & The Dead" has matured over the past 18 months. The album will be available on three different and limited vinyls, as a CD jewel case and as a limited double CD earbook edition, with 36 pages of exclusive content.
The limited 2-CD earbook edition comes with a high-quality glossy silver on the front and back of the cover. The book contains 36 pages with exclusive photos, liner notes, song lyrics and a bonus CD consisting of an audio commentary on the album and 6 unreleased live tracks! Limited to 850 units.
