Description

AUDREY HORNE are back - with insatiable hunger and distilled rock'n'roll in their veins! Formed in 2002, the Norwegians around exceptional singer Toschie and Enslaved string wizard Ice Dale quickly earned the status as one of the best live bands in the scene. They were among the first to revive the radio rock of the '70s and '80s, carrying on the tradition of Frank Stallone, Toto and Billy Joel long before it became a trend. Four years after Blackout, the Norwegians are back with their seventh album! Devil's Bell will be released on April 22, 2022 and is a terrific rock'n'roll album full of catchy tunes!

Devil's Bell comes with 9 rousing songs that will make concert halls all over the world shake. The album starts with the stormy opener "Ashes to Ashes", followed by the hard-hitting "Animal", which captivates with an irrepressible joy of playing. "Break Out" is a catchy rock anthem with powerful chours that shows frontman Toschie in top form. The captivating instrumental "Return To Grave Valley" invites you to lose yourself between the versatile guitar runs. The title track "Devil's Bell" starts with a strong solo and leads into a melodic hard rock anthem, while "All Is Lost" focuses on Kjetil Greve's drumming besides the catchy hook. You can feel in every second that the album breathes the stuffy air of a sweaty concert night.

Toschie proves once again that he has one of the most charismatic and energetic voices in hard rock. The outstanding guitar work of Ice Dale (Enslaved) and Thomas Tofthagen (ex-Sahg) underlines the remarkable mix of 70s and 80s rock with NWOBHM. As with every AUDREY HORNE album, the songs flow seamlessly into each other and stick with the first listen - a modern hard rock album in a class of its own!
