Among the exotics of our label catalogue of PURE STEEL RECORDS are the Iranians of ANGBAND! Since their debut "Rising From Apadana" (2008) the band from Teheran is under contract with PSR. But since 2012 ("Saved From The Truth") it became very quiet around the band. Now, on the upcoming album "IV", no one less than PHARAOH and CONTROL DENIED singer Tim Aymar takes over the microphone. Progressive power metal meets Persian folklore as a matter of course, as if there were never two different origins. Balladesque moments and hymnic metal parts enter into an incomparable symbiosis, which only this band can achieve.
