2006, Among the numerous releases of established rock ladies such as Lee Aaron, Lita Ford, Luba, Erika, Aina, Gudrun Laos or female fronted bands such as Vixen, Headpins or Heart, Alexa's debut, produced by Paul Sabu, didn't attract much attention. This might have been due to the large competition at that time. However, she wasn't unknown in the Bay Area and rocked through L.A.'s and San Francisco's club scene. But the significance of this insiders' tip changed immediately when the very limited re-issue of Alexa's 1989 same-titled release sold out promptly and wasn't re-released again. Suddenly, this magnificent CD was appreciated and prices on eBay soared to $150 and more. Now, 17 years later, Alexa finds her way back to the shelves, because the Munich-based label MTM CLASSIX will re-release this rare collector's gem completely digitally remastered. According to the title track's motto: "Let It Rock"!
