The heavy metal icons ALCATRAZZ , announce their fifth studio album with the apt title "V". With their new album "V", Alcatrazz are back from the studio and show that even with a new singer, they continue their usual synergy. Vintage and timeless at the same time, "V" enters the Alcatrazz territories of the past. Whether it's the choir echoes that can be heard in the song "Nightwatch", the powerful, fast, melodic metal of "Turn Of The Wheel" or the bluesy sound of "House Of Lies", there's little doubt that Alcatrazz are hitting the ground running with "V". Produced by Giles Lavery and Jimmy Waldo , mixed by Andy Haller (Elton John, Joe Cocker and System of a Down), "V" also features guest appearances by Nigel Glockler of Saxon (drums on "Guardian Angel" and "Blackheart"), C liff Evans of Tank (bass on "Grace of God") and Donnie Van Stavern of Riot (bass on "Guardian Angel," "Nightwatch" and "Target"), underscoring how popular Alcatrazz's music remains with their peers.
