From the remains of SHOTGUN EXPRESS, probably the dirtiest rock'n roll band that ever came from Stuttgart, MOTOR CITY MAYHEM emerged.
SHOTGUN EXPRESS won the German Rock & Pop Award 2012 as best Rock & Hardrock

Even the split with the old singer couldn't stop them. But instead of just picking up where they left off, they decided to make a complete new start with a much, much
dirty album!
Guitarists Johnny and Scott as well as bassist Robin are the cornerstones of the old band. Singer Van is also no stranger in the family, as he was occasionally on board as a replacement for guitarist Scott. The new formation is completed by drummer Armin and her buddies STROKER ACE!
MOTOR CITY MAYHEM stands for dirty Rock'n Roll, as it was played by bands like MC5, BLUE CHEER or THE STOOGES in the late sixties/early seventies. Combined with influences of the 90s Scandi Rock scene like BACKYARD BABIES, THE HELLACOPTERS or GLUECIFER.
The band's self-produced album "Shitfaced And Outta Luck" makes you dance, and you want to sit on your old Triumph machine and board down Route 66 right away. It takes you back to a time when hard rock music was dangerous, rude, pure and honest.
