Can U Cook? is the name of the new Seasick Steve album, which will be released on 28 September 2018 via BMG. Can U Cook? translated "Can you cook? combines Steve's most valued ingredients for a radiant new record, spiced with the good old Seasick mix of boogie, blues, rock, Americana and folk music.
Self-written and produced, Can U Cook? is Seasick Steve's ninth album. Most of it was recorded in a converted cold store at the dock of Key West, Florida. Steve's long-term drummer Dan Magnusson , better known as Crazy Dan , was also part of the band, as was guitarist Luther Dickinson ( North Mississippi Allstars ), who was the band's
upcoming tour will support him.
The new album will go on tour in autumn before returning to the UK in November for its first headliner tour since 2015. With a load of fantastic new songs in his luggage, Seasick Steve is ready to give his fans, both die-hard and new, the rockiest show of the year. He's on fire to deliver wherever his path takes him.
