Kryptos Afterburner

Since their foundation in 1998 KRYPTOS from Bangalore/India stand for first class Old School Heavy Metal with Thrashkante. In 2010 they were the first Indian band ever to tour through Europe and quickly gained a reputation as an excellent live act, which they more than consolidated in 2013 with an appearance at the Wacken Open Air, again as the first band beyond the Indian Ocean, and as support for DEATH ANGEL, TESTAMENT or IRON MAIDEN among others. If the first three albums, "Spiral Ascent" (2004), "The Ark Of Gemini" (2008) and "The Coils Of Apollyon" (2012), which have been highly praised by the press, remain under the radar of the masses, the Indian underdogs will be taking their exotic bonus away with the 2016 grenade "Burn Up The Night" at the latest. With a sound, influenced by bands like ACCEPT, JUDAS PRIEST or KREATOR, they nevertheless remain true to their underground roots and thus shape the very own KRYPTOS style. So what could be more obvious in 2019, to coincide with the band's 20th anniversary, than for the spearhead of the Indian Metal Revolution to release their fifth, grimmest album to date and thus kick the gas pedal completely through the floor! "Afterburner" shines with razor-sharp riffs, string-shredding solos and a Blitzkrieg-like double guitar attack, all in the tradition of the old heavy iron forges. As with their predecessors, Anupam Roy sat at the mixing desk, and Bill Hauser, who also designed the crazy artworks of HIRAX and SKELETONWITCH, was won over for the cover design. After the release in summer 2019 KRYPTOS, currently signed by Seaside Touring for the booking, will attack Europe again to inspire the masses with their thrilling show!
