Eisregen Fegefeuer (Black Vinyl)

In the 23rd year of its existence the Thuringian Extreme Metal legend EISREGEN presents their meanwhile 13th studio album - and one of their strongest works!

The two bandheads M. Roth and Yantit have been working on the 11 new songs for many months - "Fahlmondmörder" was already featured on the EP "Satan liebt dich" which was released in June 2018 and already received a lot of praise from fans and critics there - the complete album is now adding a few scoops of coal and is stirring up a hellfire in line with its status. The album doesn't lack hits, songs like "Knochentorte", "Alice im Wundenland", "Ich mach dich bleich" will surely also be found in the band's live set in the future, and the remaining songs are united by a common, extremely high level of quality. Musically one remains true to oneself, variety was never a foreign word for the Thuringians - and the macabre genial lyrics of M. Roth will still divide the spirits... tasteless for some, night prayer for others. And especially the latter will enjoy works like "Es lauert", "Opfer" and "oben auf dem Leichenberg".
The vocals themselves are as always in a class of their own, but seldom was M.'s singing more present than on this album. EISREGEN anno 2018 present with "Purgatory" an album that will appeal to the old as well as the new fans of the band, that much is certain. It shows that even after more than two decades you can still set new milestones as a band - you can be curious how the journey will continue.
