Bowie David Loving The Alien (1983-1988) Vinyl Box

Parlophone Records releases with DAVID BOWIE 'LOVING THE ALIEN (1983 -1988)' the fourth edition of a series of box sets documenting BOWIE's work since 1969 in elaborate editions. LOVING THE ALIEN (1983 - 1988)' will be released on 12 October.

The title of the 11-CD and 15 LP box comes from the opening track of the album Tonight (1984). The box contains newly mastered versions of albums from BOWIE's commercially most successful phase: 'LET'S DANCE', 'TONIGHT', 'NEVER LET ME DOWN (ORIGINAL and 2018 VERSIONS)', the live album 'GLASS SPIDER (Live Montreal '87)', the previously unreleased live album 'SERIOUS MOONLIGHT', an extensive collection of original remixes titled 'DANCE' and the Compilation with non-album tracks, alternative versions, B-sides and music for soundtracks RE:CALL 4.

The booklets of the physical box sets comprise 128 pages in the CD box and 84 pages in the vinyl box. They contain rarely shown and previously unpublished photographs by photographers such as Denis O'Regan, Greg Gorman, Herb Ritts and many others. In addition, there are historical press reviews and technical notes from the then producers Nile Rodgers, Hugh Padgan, Mario McNulty and Justin Shirley-Smith.
