The Swedish power metallers Axenstar have been an indispensable part of the European scene for a long time. Since their debut in 2002 with 'Perpetual Twilight' the band has released six studio albums, but the last sign of life 'Where Dreams Are Forgotten' was more than four years ago. So it's high time to dedicate themselves to a new longply again - and that's exactly what the band around Magnus Winterwildauch did. The result is now available in the form of 'End Of All Hope' and can already be counted among the great moments of the band's history. AXENSTAR sound fresh and inspired, but at the same time you get the impression that the band is aware of their roots. Songs like 'King Of Fools', 'Honor And Victory' and 'My Kingdom Come' are as classic Power Metal as possible and transport the spirit of the early 2000s scene into the here and now.
