The US-Americans from Virginia Beach have borrowed their name from music theory, where the terms Arsis and Thesis each describe stressed and unstressed beat times. This comes as little surprise as the band's co-founder James Malone is a classically trained violinist and composer. This fact gives a completely new level to the sound of the group, which is by no means for the delicately strung.
