- Hailing from in and around Los Angeles, XERON started life in early '80s, with guitarist Trevor Jay and singer Larry Leon, as the main songwriters of the band.
- They self-released the 'Does Anybody Hear...' EP in '85, with comparisons to bands like Journey and Prophet (as well as Queensryche!), and their style has been described as "AOR with balls"!
- Unfortunately, due to the lack of interest in this genre, the band split up after some great live shows in the Los Angeles-area.
- In the right hands and with the right label, XERON could have been up there with the likes of White Sister and Prophet!
- For the first time on CD, the EP has been coupled with 4 live tracks (3 of which totally unreleased!) recorded at "Reseda Club" during 1984, and it's now presented in a carefully remastered version from the original master-tapes and enriched by the usual de-luxe booklet full of unseen pics, flyers and memorabilia!
