Vintage hard rock from the 1970s straight from Down Under! The long-awaited second album by the Australian band Tarot impresses with hard rock including Hammond-B3 for a new generation of fans! As a cohesive band, Tarot have put together a lively, sprawling album with 'Glimpse Of The Dawn' that pays serious tribute to its core influences Uriah Heep, Rainbow and Deep Purple while at the same time creating its own identity. The band left room for improvisation. Many of the album's lead guitar parts were written spontaneously in the studio and subsequently retained, allowing Tarot to "capture lightning in a bottle". This approach is perhaps best exemplified in the title track, which opens the album in grand fashion with rollicking Hammond keyboards and vocal power.
