Switchfood Interrobang

GRAMMY award-winning rock band Switchfoot will release their new album interrobang on August 20, 2021 via Fantasy Records.

Full of childlike imagination and futuristic thinking, Switchfoot reaches new creative heights with interrobang, the 12th album in the multi-platinum rock band's 20+ year career. Working with producer Tony Berg (Paul McCartney, Phoebe Bridgers, Andrew Bird), Switchfoot - Jon Foreman, Tim Foreman, Chad Butler, Jerome Fontamillas and Drew Shirley - recorded the album at both Sound City Studio in Van Nuys, CA and the band's own studio in Carlsbad, CA in a burst of pent-up creativity.

In the midst of Pandemic. Fearlessly combining '60s experimentalism and synth-driven new wave swagger, the band went far beyond their own comfort zone to create a new sound. "More than ever, we wanted our music to be a bridge, with melody and lyrics and honest songs for everyone," says Switchfoot frontman Jon Foreman. "interrobang is an album that celebrates the journey, even if the arrival is uncertain. interrobang is the sound of joy and pain, trust and doubt against the backdrop of the strangest and most difficult year we've ever experienced."
