2010, TOUCH THE SKY - VOLUME I, by Supernal Endgame, is a wonderfully pleasant surprise - a tastefully and professionally recorded album of what can only be described as symphonic prog worship music. Worship music, because most of the songs are vertically oriented - sung to the creator in an effort to ´touch the sky` but not necessarily something you would use in a congregational setting; and symphonic because it features lush instrumentation, including ample violins and some tin whistle, mixed with the classic prog rock guitar and keyboard heavy vibe. It's a fantastic album, a must-have either for a Christian that enjoys progressive rock or a secular prog-rocker that doesn't mind a bit of lavish Jesus-love in the music. Supernal Endgame is comprised of John Eargle on guitars, guitar synth and keyboards, Rob Price on drums and lead vocals, and Dan Pomeroy on guitars and tin whistle. While all the musicians are talented and the songs extremely well written and recorded, its Price's vocals that set this band apart.
