2010, after Mercury Rising lost their lead singer, the remaining members of this NY band had to hang tight and undergo an intense search to find not only a replacement but a perfect fit. With the help of MySpace, the band discovered Archit Tripath, a vocalist that shared the same power rock acumen. In order to signal this transformation, the band changed their name to Sugar Red Drive, a combination of powerful words that spoke true to the band as whole. Now complete, the band has brought to us their first release titled Sugar Red Drive, a throw back to the rock era with edgy chain saw guitar rifts and a diverse assortment of vocal experimentation.
