2013, Stone Sour, the Gold-certified, Grammy-nominated rock band, presents their fifth album, HOUSE OF GOLD AND BONES - PART II. Both parts is a concept album that brings questions of mortality with someone at the crossroads of his life. Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor, the musician described HOUSE OF GOLD AND BONES - PART II as darker and heavier than the first part, along with being the most experimental Stone Sour have ever been with their music. Taylor also likens the latest album to a film soundtrack, even more so than the flow of HOUSE OF GOLD AND BONES - PART I. Formed in 1992 and retired in 1997, Stone Sour played soulful, metallic hard rock in the vein of Alice in Chains, traces of which later appeared in looser, guitar-oriented Slipknot numbers like ,,Left Behind".
