After their comeback with the first single "Surviving The Game" in September, Skillet have released "Standing In The Storm", the next harbinger of their upcoming album "Dominion", which will be released on January 14.
The last two albums of the US band both made it into the Top20 of the official German album charts. "Dominion" was produced by Kevin Churko (Papa Roach, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch). The songs were written by John Cooper, Korey Cooper, Kevin Churko and Kane Churko and were created 100% remotely between the band's tour dates, their home studio in Wisconsin and Churko's studio in Las Vegas.
"Dominion is about freeing ourselves from the fear and celebrating freedom - being who we want to be, saying what we want to say, believing what we want to believe," Cooper explains. "So basically the God-given rights that we came into the world with. It's time to reclaim them, to take back control of our lives and stop being slaves to fear. I hope this album will empower, inspire, uplift people - and awaken the urgent need in them to rock their legs out!"
