Eighteen months was a quiet time around SERIOUS BLACK, a comparatively long time for a band that, since its formation in 2015, has allowed a maximum of one year to pass before releasing a new album. After three successful albums and more than 120 concerts played worldwide, they used the deserved time off to create new concepts, to work on fresh material.
Musically and in terms of content, the band takes the listener on a journey into psychiatry, between heaven and hell; "Suite 226" is the perfect soundtrack for the trip to the place of damnation. Ruthless riffs meet catchy melodies, the whole thing is driven by a manic rhythm section, the high-carat, unleashed vocals of singer Urban Breed contribute the necessary portion of insanity.
