Space Vacation is the heavy metal band for heavy metal fans. Influenced by heavy metal and rock thrashers like Judas Priest, Motorhead, Van Halen, AC/DC and Guns N Roses, Space Vacation has combined the hellish fury of their inspirations with their own melodic sensibilities. The band plays twin guitars, shredding leads, an exceptional rhythm section and strong vocals to combine the best of their idols with their own flair to create their own brand of heavy metal music. The band consists of Kiyoshi Morgan (Vicious Rumors) on guitars, Eli Lucas (Hatchet) on drums, Kai Sun (Immigrant) on bass, and Scott Shapiro on lead vocals and rhythm guitar. The music of Space Vacation takes us back to the 'golden era' of traditional heavy metal, combining the best hard rock with speed metal. The album should have been released in 2020, but due to the pandemic the band had more time for production and created something really unique, heavy and melodic.
