2010, The band formed in 2008 in Sweden and straight from the start rehearsed a lot, played dozens of live shows and wrote lots of songs. They soon contacted Per Nilsson of Scar Symmetry and the band's debut album was recorded at his Studio Kabyss. Later it was mixed in Black Lounge Studio by Jonas Kjellgren, also from Scar Symmetry. Royal Jester is a modern power metal band that mixes speedy intense power metal with other elements to get a wide array of arrangements. Lyrical themes can also differ much from song to song, as well as musical influences.
