Led by singer Johanna Sadonis and influenced by bands like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Blue Öyster Cult, Steppenwolf, Heart and Fleetwood Mac, LUCIFER formed in Berlin in 2014, whose Rise-Above debut "Lucifer I" received numerous positive feedback. In 2016 this former line-up, to which Cathedral guitarist Gaz Jennings also belonged, collapsed, and like'Phoenix', sung on "Lucifer II", LUCIFER also experienced a rebirth - in Sweden! Sadonis found a congenial songwriting partner in Nicke Andersson (Entombed, The Hellacopters, Imperial State Electric), she moved to Stockholm, Robin Tidebrink joined as a young guitar talent and the live members Martin Nordin (guitar / Dead Lord) and Alexandr Mayr on bass are now fixed parts of the new line-up, which now presents his latest work at the new Century Media Records label. "Lucifer II" does not mark a departure from the original sound, but proves to be better in every respect! The songs are more driving, vary between catchy heavy rockers, atmospheric ballads and classic doom, and the sound is more dynamic, transparent and fresh than before.
