Khemmis Desolation

Now, in 2018, the anticipation for the third album "Desolation" can be felt throughout the metal scene. And when you come from a place called Mile High City, expectations are twice as high, but the Americans created something that will become known as an absolute KHEMMIS classic.

Already with the gigantic first notes of'Bloodletting' it becomes immediately apparent that KHEMMIS have developed again and try to create a sound that is unique. Isolation' - which was first presented live on the Decibel Tour - is the debut single and the most direct track on the album, full of the classic metal melodies for which the band has become famous. On the epic final track'From Ruin' and throughout the entire album, Phil Pendergast's lead vocals are the clearest and most powerful you've ever heard from the band. For the third time the quartet worked with Dave Otero at Flatline Audio in Denver and by the meanwhile developed familiarity and experience together, the ideal symbiosis for the songwriting, the arrangements and the production arose.
