Kasabian Happenings

With Kasabian, one of the biggest and most important British rock bands is back with renewed strength and a brand new studio album! "Happenings" will be released on July 5, 2024 via Columbia Records. With "Happenings", Kasabian are releasing their 8th and one of their best studio albums, as the UK formation has already proven with the previously released lead single "Call", which sets the tone for the new long player with its massive synth riff, gripping background choirs and unstoppable groove. "Call" is the first song that Serge Pizzorno wrote for the new album - a track that now offers a first glimpse of the temptations that Kasabian have in store for their fans this time. With the follow-up to their 2022 top 1 album "The Alchemist's Euphoria", Kasabian present ten fast, polished and high-dose power tracks on "Happenings", inspired by the "Anything Goes" art movement of the late 1950s. While the band makes a sharp turn from the dance floor towards the mosh pit, tracks over three minutes have been rigorously sorted out (well, almost). In total, the ten pieces have a playing time of 26 minutes ("One minute shorter than the Ramones' debut album back then"). In other words: "Happenings" is a short but all the more intense listening pleasure that makes you want more. All songs were written and recorded in Pizzorno's home studio The Sergery before Serge and co-producer Mark Ralph (Zara Larsson, Clean Bandit, Rudimental) worked together on the final version.
