Finally KARDINAL SIN release their debut album "Victorious"! The album title, as well as the title track, are based on a true fact: One of the band members was diagnosed with a carnivorous disease and had to fight for his life.
The whole album surrounds a dark atmosphere and is rather a mixture of Power Metal and classical Heavy Metal with strong melodies and even a touch of "Phantom of the Opera".
You can look forward to fast songs like the albumopener "Patria", as well as songs like "Walls Of Stone", which is a bit slower and reminiscent of Edguy and "Mastermind", the heaviest song on the album, and "Secrets Of The Pantomime", where Fredrik Folklare (Firespawn, Unleashed) plays a guest guitar solo. With "Bells Of Notre Dame" KARDINAL SIN present a metal version of the song of the same name from Disney's cartoon "Der Glöckner von Notre Dame".
CARDINAL SIN have put a lot of work into writing beautiful melodies and have concentrated more on writing good songs instead of following the guidelines of a certain genre.
What is your sin?
