Description

The emulsion of relentless hard work, non-stop touring, and critically acclaimed releases that have not only charted internationally, but also generated over 250 million streams/views across platforms - has secured JINJER's reputation as one of the hottest and most exciting bands in modern metal.
JINJER, like no other, are synonymous with going their own way and throwing the stereotypical laws of metal overboard: They prove this once again on their upcoming, highly anticipated fourth long player "Wallflowers". The new album not only represents the logical next step in the band's imposing career, but is also a reflection of the band's life situation and the personal adversities implemented by worldwide events. "Wallflowers" is the tonal reflection of the evolution of the band's progressive groove-metal sound that all JINJER fans long for, and at the same time a musical witch's cauldron of technical proficiency and emotional fury that symbiotically provide an intense soundtrack to the harrowing state of today's world.

JINJER, who hail from the conflict-ridden Ukrainian region of Donetsk and now call Kiev home, truly do not mince words on "Wallflowers" and show themselves in rebellious top form. Their exceptional precision of modern metal, coupled with hard-hitting attitude, has earned them a loyal fan base over the years and countless sold-out shows around the world. Almost all of JINJER's releases have come between Vans, backstage rooms and touring - and despite the different circumstances of its creation, "Wallflowers" picks up where its predecessor "Macro" left off.

Once again produced in collaboration with longtime friend and mastermind Max Morton, "Wallflowers" is fueled by the weight and frustration of real life and embodies a core theme that JINJER approaches from multiple perspectives, including their own. These are aspects that society tends to gloss over, especially in times of overall societal or individual crisis - from the antithesis of expectations, ideologies and self-determination, to the personal pressures of self-discovery, recharging batteries and the courage to stand your ground, cry out and stand up to the crushing honesty of reality. Tracks like the blastbeat-laden "Colossus", the 90s grunge vibe of "Disclosure!" and the dynamically blazing "Mediator", to the dark and gritty psychedelic ramble of "Wallflower" and the blistering urgency of "Vortex" and "As I Boil Ice" - will not only win over hardcore fans with their boisterous heaviness, but will also win over new ones. "Wallflowers" is another sensational addition to JINJER's discography so far, setting new standards for creativity in modern metal.
