Haunt, from Fresno California, began as a solo project of Trevor William Church (Beastmakers). Meanwhile a real band, there is in deliberate contrast to the Beastmakers, traditional Metal with a proper Hard Rock impact. Especially when it comes to guitar work, the NWoBHM also sends its regards. Haunt's latest record "Flashback" is by far the most mature, a dazzling mixture of NwoBHM-tinged steel and a touch of progressive hard rock like from the 1970s, which continues to grow the more often you hear it. Fans of traditional metal should definitely take a listen here.
