L-1VE is the first official live release of Haken. After the release of their very successful studio album Affinity, Haken went on tour throughout Europe and North America on the occasion of their 10th band birthday, and recorded their show of 13 April 2017 in the famous Melkweg in Amsterdam to capture the live energy of this special band on film for fans and posterity.
The set list focuses strongly on the last two studio albums Affinity (2016) and The Mountain (2013), with a 22-minute encore of the track Visions from the album of the same name (2011). At the heart of the performance, however, is the 25-minute Aquamedley, which consists of 6 of 7 tracks from the debut album Aquarius (2010). The bonus DVD contains 4 tracks of live performance at the Prog Power Fest in Atlanta in 2016 as well as three official music videos.
