2011, Their comeback album, BEL AIR sounds surprisingly variable, matured and profound. While the debut, GUANO APES was still marked by juvenile easiness, they already progressed on their second release, DON'T GIVE ME NAMES in terms of diversity. The new opus sets forth this development, rocks sharply and further expands the genre to the threshold to pop. Especially in the lower speed ranges, singer Sandra Nasic shows that her voice can thrill not only in speed attacks. With esprit and passion, she adds expression and affection to the emotional songs. And if you prefer the Apes rather in heavy vein, there is enough rock- and headbanger-stuff, too.
