Exumer Hostie Defiance

On April 5th the legendary multinational thrashers of EXUMER will release their fifth longplayer 'Hostile Defiance' via Metal Blade Records.

Hostile Defiance' offers exactly what its title suggests: 42 minutes of full-on twelve, in which the thrashers don't rein themselves in for a second, but let hell break loose in their incomparable way. But this happens in a more varied and dynamic way than ever before. "We wanted to develop our sound, become more melodic and rhythmically diverse," explains singer Mem von Stein. "We now take a much more courageous approach by trying to stay relevant with a sound that can stand for itself in today's thrash scene without seeming banal or cramped retro. We also don't want our listeners to assume that we use the same feeling and tempo all the time, or that we only know one gait."
