The symphonic metal formation EVERDAWN initially started in 2014 as Midnight Eternal and had released their self-titled full-length debut under this name two years later. During the first demo recordings for a follow-up album, the band then parted ways with vocalist and founding member Raine Hilai in 2019, replacing her with Alina Gavrilenko in the same year. In order to avoid a subsequent dispute with their old frontwoman, the band from the USA immediately renamed itself and has been operating as EVERDAWN ever since. And under this name the five-member troupe is now releasing their 2nd studio album entitled "Cleopatra" on February 19, 2021, which was mixed and mastered by renowned producer/sound engineer Dan Swanö (Opeth, Katatonia uva.) and on which the Swede Thomas Vikström (Therion, Stormwind) can be heard as a guest vocalist on one song.
