Brute metal riffing, picture-perfect lyrics and a fantastic live show: this is the result of over five years of hard work, during which the dark metallers ERDLING never hit the brakes. Where glorious warriors who died on the battlefield enter Valhalla, it banishes everyone else to the deepest and darkest of all worlds: HELHEIM. Here all the forgotten eke out a bleak, eternal existence, who fell victim to disease and insidiousness. Musically ERDLING orientate themselves on their work "Yggdrasil", which already in 2020 gave the band new records, as well as on "Supernova", which is one of the most popular records of the combo. No matter if the progressive "Fimbulwinter", which was created in cooperation with the soundtrack singer "Julie Elven" - or the accusatory, rabid "Der Mensch verdient die Erde nicht" - the quartet always has a good feel for current topics: "HELHEIM is probably the most rounded album we've ever made. It contains all the ingredients that fans have always appreciated about the band. That's why we brought Chris Harms (Lord of the Lost) on board again as producer, because he knows our sound best and has always contributed constructively to our further development.
