D'OR Antiheroes

The Swiss rockers' debut album "Veni Vidi Ignis" was received brilliantly by the press and fans alike in 2022. On stage, the band was able to shine with their excellent live skills and was celebrated mega, whether at a club show or festival. It was all the more important for the band around mastermind, singer and guitarist Andy Dormann (KISSSIN' BLACK, ex-CHARING CROSS) to present a befitting new album. To take at least one more step forward! And "Antiheroes" is without question the logical and perfect successor to the debut album and presents itself with even stronger songs and a fatter, more appropriate sound. The band continues to impressively prove that dirty, loud music is alive and has a lot of fun incorporating and living out every cliché, no matter how over the top, for the big screen. Analogous to the fantastic cover artwork by Stan W Decker. It's not a wild ride towards the Sunset Strip, this time the Sunset Strip is being plowed over. Braking is not an option, D'OR rocks and rolls unstoppably! While the debut was a wild mix of ALICE COOPER, SKID ROW and W.A.S.P, "Antiheroes" adds a dash of US metal from ARMORED SAINT. And sometimes, slight Teutonic metal vibes á la ACCEPT also seem to be recognizable. VELENO - BITTERSWEET is another song from the collaboration with KISSIN' BLACK that made it onto the album. In addition, Andy's voice has matured further and is even more distinctive than on the debut and the songwriting has also taken a big step forward! On the new album, D'OR leave no doubt that their antiheroes are in fact the real heroes!!!
