2002, The first three studio albums, Shadow Of The Moon (1997), Under A Violet Moon (1999) and Fires At Midnight (2001), consisted of wonderful lyrics and melodies, as well as fascinating guitar parts. The 1997 debut, Shadow Of The Moon, stayed in the German album charts for 17 weeks and went gold in Japan. The subsequent recording, Under A Violet Moon, arrived in spring 1999, made no. 20 in Germany and no. 12 in the Japanese Billboard Charts, and saw the band embark on another worldwide tour of churches, opera houses, theatres, castles and chateaux. The 2001 release, Fires At Midnight, continued in this successful vein, making no. 9 in the German album charts (no. 20 in Japan) and earning enthusiastic reactions from fans and media alike. The double live album, Past Times With Good Company (2002), was a resume of the first three studio recordings, featuring two additional bonus tracks in Fries At Midnight (in an acoustic version) and Home Again.
