The sixth studio album of the quintet Blackberry Smoke contains 13 songs, all written by vocalist/guitarist Charlie Starr. In addition to Starr and his band mates Richard Turner (bass/vox), Brit Turner (drums), Paul Jackson (guitar/vox) and Brandon Still (keyboards), this time there are also some special guests on the album, like Robert Randolph (I'll Keep Ramblin'), Amanda Shires (Let Me Down Easy) and The Wood Brothers (Mother Mountain). Starr says to Find A Light: "The album is like a melting pot and shows a wide range of sounds and emotions. We have never been so inspired and versatile.
As usual they will spend the coming months almost exclusively on tour (in the past years the musicians played up to 250 shows per year). In July the band will play at the Ramblin Man Fair Festival in England, further tour dates for Europe will follow shortly.
Find A Light is the successor of the 2016 album Like An Arrow, which landed on #8 in the UK charts, on #12 in the US billboard charts and on #31 in the German charts.
