"Four years ago, the five-member progressive power metal band Adamantis was founded in Boston to release their debut album "Far Flung Realm" in 2020, following the EP "Thundermark" released in 2018. After the intro "Into The Realm", which starts with horse stomping and symphonic sounds, the double bass underpinned opener "Unbound Souls" starts comparatively briskly, before the second single "Misbegotten Dream" follows with a quite catchy chorus. In the best Running Wild manner, it continues with the driving "Puppeteers s Bane", to bring after the strongly instrumental "Fire And Brimstone" and the progressive "Imagination" in "Journey s End", partly again fresh wind.
