The Quill Born from fire

THE QUILL IS BACK! Das klassische Line-up der legendären Alben "Silver Haze", "Voodoo Caravan" und "Hooray! It's A Deathtrip" ist endlich wiedervereint. Originalsänger Magnus Ekwall (Ayreon) steht endlich wieder am Mikrophon der Anfang 1990 in Mönsterås, Schweden gegründeten Band, die durch das dynamische Zusammenspiel zwischen Drummer Jolle Atlagic (Hanoi Rocks, Electric Boys, Firebird), Gitarrist Christian Carlsson und Bassist Roger Nilsson (Spiritual Beggars, Firebird) ihren einzigartigen, tief in den 70ern beheimateten Heavy Rock hinüber in das Jahr 2017 transportiert. Magnus Ekwall über seine Rückkehr zu The Quill und die Lyrics des neuen Albums: "The new record is back to the roots, no frills, just full throttle real QUILL rock!The lyrics are based on my life and things in life like, birth, death, sorrow and happiness, and I think that everyone can relate to that."
