Benefit ist das dritte Studioalbum von Jethro Tull, das im April 1970 veröffentlicht wurde. Es war das erste Tull-Album mit dem Pianisten und Organisten John Evan und das letzte mit dem Bassisten Glenn Cornick. Es wurde in den Morgan Studios aufgenommen, demselben Studio, in dem die Band auch ihr vorheriges Album Stand Up aufnahm.
Benefit (50th Anniversary Edition) erscheint als 4CD /2DVD-Set, das Steven Wilsons Stereo Remixe des Originalalbums, dazugehörige Aufnahmen, Mono-Mixe sowie Live At Tanglewood 1970, Live At Tanglewood 1970, Live At Aragon Ballroom, Chicago 1970 und vieles mehr beinhaltet.
