Esoteric Recordings ist stolz darauf, die Veröffentlichung einer neu gemasterten und erweiterten 2-CD-Edition von MODERN MUSIC bekannt zu geben, dem legendären 1976er Album von BE BOP DELUXE. Aufgenommen im Juni und Juli 1976 im Abbey Road Studio Three, war MODERN MUSIC das vierte Album von Be Bop Deluxe und das zweite mit dem Line-up von BILL NELSON (Gesang, Gitarren, Keyboards), CHARLES TUMAHAI (Bass, Gesang), ANDY CLARK (Keyboards) und SIMON FOX (Drums). Nach dem Erfolg und dem kritischen Lob für das Vorgängeralbum SUNBURST FINISH der Band wurde das Album erneut von BILL NELSON und JOHN LECKIE koproduziert.
