On 29 March 2019 WHITECHAPEL will release their seventh album 'The Valley' via Metal Blade Records. The album was again produced by Mark Lewis (Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder) and contains an artwork from Branca Studio. The Valley' is a reference to Hardin Valley (west of Knoxville, Tennessee), where singer Phil Bozeman grew up. It is against this backdrop that he is unstoppably approaching his subject, building on what was before and making it clear that he has survived what he had to endure, and is not afraid to deal with it. "Phil has been very open in his lyrics in the past about the hardships he had to endure as a child, and I think with this record we've tried to paint a better picture of it," says guitarist Alex Wade, who is 100% behind what the singer has to say alongside his band colleagues. "I think our music is Phil's liberation from his past. He can get it out and talk about it, and hopefully anyone who listens to it and has had similar experiences can find some redemption, too."
