The band, founded in Birmingham in 1983, played an intersection of Hardrock / Glam Metal and AOR. Shy toured with Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf, Twisted Sister, Gary Moore and UFO. Brave The Storm' was the major debut of the band and the single 'Hold On (To Your Love)' was excluded from the chart because the first edition included a T-shirt.
The now popular second album is now available as a Rock Candy Remaster with six bonus tracks and brand new liner notes.
