2012, Savage may not be the first band to spring to mind when you think of the NWOBHM, but these East Midlands metal merchants were there at the start, forming in 1979. 'Sons Of Malice' is an album full to the brim of strong bluesy metal riffs, powerful performances and well written songs, showing the band have matured. It's a traditional metal album with a classy blues infusion that will do their reputation no harm at all.
