Richard Ashcroft returns! His fifth studio album "Natural Rebel" is released on October 19th. The album is released on his own RPA label and is his first release on BMG.
"Natural Rebel" is after "Alone With Everybody" (#1, 2000), "Human Conditions" (#3, 2002), "Keys to the World" (#2, 2006), and "These People" (#3, 2016) the latest chapter in the highly successful solo career of former The Verve front man and Ivor Novello winner. With ten new songs, all written by Ashcroft, "Natural Rebel" was produced by the singer-songwriter together with Jon Kelly (Paul McCartney, Kate Bush) and Emre Ramazanoglu (Bobby Gillespie, Jarvis Cocker). Most of the recordings took place at the State of the Ark Studios in Richmond, further sessions at The Bunker, Tileyard Studios and Hoxa HQ.
