Farrell Perry Kind Heaven

Perry Farrell is driven by a never-ending desire: The desire to offer live music fans something new again and again, to entertain them, to pick them up. This is also the case with his new album "Kind Heaven", with which Jane´s Addiction - and Porno For Pyros - frontman and Lollapalooza - founder presents his first longplayer via BMG. "Kind Heaven" is a tonal melting pot, in which the most different music decades and genres flow into each other, while they are being played by the Farrell's unique voice; one of undoubtedly the most charismatic and influential front men of the last thirty years. Starting with the protest song "Pirate Punk Politician", reminiscent of the unbridled furor of Jane's Addiction, to the theatrical "Snakes Have Many Hips", which could also be found in a Broadway musical, and the forward from "One" to the dramatic "World Music-influenced" "More Than I Could Bear" - Farrell is a master of crossover who regards "Kind Heaven" as a collective result.

For the songs of "Kind Heaven" Farrell was able to gather a proverbial all-star crew around him. Among them Foo Fighter's member Taylor Hawkins (who can be heard on the songs "(red, white and blue) Cheerfulness" and "More Than I Could Bear") and The Cars guitarist Elliot Easton ("More Than I Could Bear"). Perry Farrell is also co-producer with the great Tony Visconti (T.Rex, David Bowie, Iggy Pop.
