Kall - "the Velvet Underground of Black 'n' Roll" according to Cvlt Nation - have come a long way. The successors of depressive black metal pioneers Lifelover released their self-titled debut in 2014, and although the spirit of the band from which they emerged hovers over their three former members, their second album "Brand" is a beacon of self-empowerment and uncompromising independence. The musicians make use of stylistic devices from Scandinavian Black Metal, Shoegaze and Post Rock, saxfon-pregnant psych and saddest pop to express their message. "Brand" is released as Digipak CD.
